Who has a right to study at community college?
All adults and young people aged 16 or over have a right to study at community college irrespective of sex or nationality. In addition, children aged between 7 and 16 years have a right to participate in all courses of music, art, theatre and dance and in courses where the college’s study program states that the course is suitable – also for 13-16 years olds. These are mainly handicrafts courses.
How to sign up for the courses?
In most cases you are not required to register for the courses beforehand. You can sign up at the first lesson by filling out a registration form and returning it to the teacher. The teacher will help you!
If necessary, take a dictionary with you. And remember to bring your own pen and paper!
How much does it cost to study?
Immigrants pay 50% of the price of nearly each course (for adults, young people and children). Remember to mention this when enrolling.
